Re: Lowered Bike

i did it on my old f3, just brough the forks up a bit so it loveres it about 1.5" or so it worked out good for me, better traction when doing stoppies and burnouts for sure... but some people might disagree, but iv never hat a problem and liked it alot more..

Re: Lowered Bike

IF you want performance don't lower your bike!

lowering your bike is for newer short riders who aren't confident, and not worried about performance, just want to flat foot..

Once your doing a wheelie, it isn't gonna matter how high your seat height is, you're just gonna make the bike handle like ****

Re: Lowered Bike

good chance you will smash a radiator also ...

and if you have a cage that runs under the bike you will be smashing that into the ground which indirectly hammers your motor mounts and frame...

Check out Hollywood's setup. I've seen other ppl lower the front even more so the clip-ons sit flush.

Re: Lowered Bike

Plain and simple DON'T lower ur bike it looks dumb as shyt unless its a track bike or ur out in miami tryin to pick up tricks Plus its gonna ride like **** and scrape pegs and everthing under the sun. I ride with a gurl who lowered her bike and dumped it last year casue when she dropped into a turn the vortex foot peg hit the ground and low sided so dont do it. Ride twinkle toe's who give shyt/

I was just curious, because I've been thinking about making the switch to clip-ons and wanted to get a lil bit more height out of them.
