I've been riding with loose clip ons for the past 3 seasons. I'm just saying not to crank the **** out of the clamp bolts so that a good hit will move the clip on. I usually make a reference mark on my fork with a sharpie so that I can tell if they've moved. I've never seen them move under normal riding or with stoppies.

I hear ya. Righteous levers look strong as a ***** but the cable adjuster don't pivot, with my db's and hb I need all the space I can get. I'm gonna try one just for the sake of doin it but a fatass discount at Honda just cant be beat. I think I paid $20ish for the Raptor.

If your idea was the case why do they put a break away point in the every lever?
actually the ***** i think are just supposed to keep your fingers from sliping off cause they definitely dont stop the levers from impaling flesh when my dad was younger he wrecked a dirtbike pretty hard long story short his clutch lever broke off in his thigh
