UFC tonite at 9:00
Re: UFC tonite at 9:00
If I was Kimbo's trainer Id have him work heavily on mui thia and jui jitsu. He also needs to lose like 10-15lbs of upper body muscle and transfer that 10-15lbs to his legs.
Re: UFC tonite at 9:00
just about every fighter (and stunter, haha) has these type of injuries, just gotta deal with it.

And part of scoring is ACTUALLY ATTACKING. You think Kimbo's 3 punches is aggression?
Alexander did what he said he was going to do, let Kimbo strike first and go for the counter. Kimbo kept telling Alexander to fight him the first round but yet did nothing but follow him around the ring.
At the most, the fight should've been a draw. No way in hell Kimbo should've been giving the win.

fights like that can get boring, if both guys are doing the " ill let him strike first and counter " routine. then you see 2 guys dancing in a cage for 3 minutes
I thought it was a good fight, kimbos 1st ufc fight, expected him to be hesitant and not control the pace, but he had Alexander, a world class fighter, capable of fightng anyone in the LH devision, running for his life, haha. To me this fight more than proved kimbo deserves a spot in the 205 devision.
i see that hurting him, he got taken down fairly easy on that leg sweep, almost looked like he fell so his leg took less of the hit

Re: UFC tonite at 9:00
dude as bad as i think the fight was there is no way u can try and say it should have been a draw. Kimbo scored points by controlling the fight had two takedown slams on alexander. Mounted him twice and took his back twice. All those score points even if he looked terrible doing so. All alexander did was get a half as leg kick that kimbo didnt check and didnt take advantage of it. If he wasnt out of shape he should have jumped right on kimbo and finished it.
Re: UFC tonite at 9:00
+1, arguable the 1st round too. 1 of the judges scored it that way.
oh and for the people calling BS on the DQ of jones vs hamil. I agree that that is a stupid rule, but it is a rule nonetheless. you could tell by the look on jones's face when mazagaiti jumped in that he knew he had thrown a illegal blow and may lose the fight because of it.
kinda a dick move on dana's part to call out mazagati's ref skills(jones must be dana's new goldenboy), refing is a tough job, gotta make final decisions on the spot, not another ref to confer with or a video replay like football.

what did dana say? i didnt hear that part.
Re: UFC tonite at 9:00
they're supposed to give 3 warnings before a DQ. I agree, that was a bs call. Anyone follow dana white on twitter? I thought it was funny when he said this, in regards to Steve Mazagatti:
"@danawhite: I can't believe the nevada state athl etic comm puts him in there!!!! Guy knows nothing about MMA. Scary"

I think a lot of people are calling bs about it becase the fight should not have been recorded as a dq. It should have been a no contest. Jones was in control of the whole fight and to get a loss like that when u controlled the whole fight sucks. I think it should have been a nc.
Re: UFC tonite at 9:00
well i know that EVERYONE wants to see jones fight again. Look at it this way, his loss was better for him than kimbos win was... and alotta other fighters that step in there simply to get a W and forget that they are ENTERTAINING tens of thousands...

IMO mazagati probably should have stepped in a few hits before the illegal hit
