im probably gonna get **** on for asking this cause i never see people wear them, but i'm learning and dont care what i look like, i just want to be able to get up from falls to try it again. so any recommendations on what to wear?

 

i wear my fox one i had for motocross, but most ppl wear them under there paints so you cant see them

i run a 905 cage so shin protection is a must

 

After splitting my shins opens a couple times I do. I wear them under my jeans and I use the Icon ones. They work nice, but the elastic wears out pretty quickly.

 

buy some shin pads like baseball catchers wear

 

661 knee and shin pads are the only ones i found that actually stay up on your knee..icons are nice but slide down leaving knee exposed..

 

I got about 6 scars on my shins from rear sets. it took me a while 2 learn but ya gotta wear em. I got a pair or moose knee cups. the same ones i rocked when i raced mx. They dont slide down and they are comfortable as a pair of knee cups can be.

wear elbows or body armors too

 

i have and wear all icon knee elbo back but i dont like the knee pads because they shift around and dont stay on your knee all my armor is rashed up so its doing its job

I have EVS shin/knee protectors. they're alright, but they shift around sometimes. I usually just tuck the bottom of the shin pad part into my socks and that keeps em from moving around too much.

 

i have some almost brand new icon elbow,knee and shin guards i will sell to ya for cheap.....i got the icon vest too i want to sell...all of it is that field armor stuff....if you want them pm me bro

 

i got an armored jacket, ce aproved armor for elbow and shoulders, but just padding for the back with a pocket for ce armor, should i buy armor or is padding enough?

 

Always smart to have gear. I have MX Thor. Basically knee braces,shin guards, and they cover your upper leg some all in one. Stay in place. Which is the problem with most gear. Moving around. Pissing you off and taking it off.

i wear fox mx shin guards with the kneepad built into them.. i think i picked mine up at th local dealership for 15.00!!! well worth the money
