EVS strada knee/shin pads...

 

i need more gear. all i wore last yr for my first season was the icon elbow and a helmet

 

Dainese 3x knee pads. They will absolutely never, ever budge and will not inhibit your movement.

 

i always wear protective gear (including knee and shin armor, back chest shoulder & elbo armor, hemet, gloves...ect)

 

My sqiud didly *** is always geared up, you don't wanna be picking gravel, grit, dirt etc outta wounds that ***** wack

 

back when i had a 905 cage i wore fox bmx/mx shin/knee gaurds. they are not too bulky and fasten with two velcro straps so they fit under the pants nicely.

 

pretty sure thats the ones that i run

 

the other type of pads that no one thinks of is THIN hockey shin guards. i used to ref hockey games. after taking a few nice smacks in the shins on face offs, i found a cheap set of shin guards for like 15 bucks. they fit under my ref pants just fine. couldnt even tell they were there

Every time I ride w/out knee/shin gaurds.....I regret it!

 

i rock the icon shin guards...i was standing in a ss and my knee went right into the tank and they did a good job. but one time i job off the bike and the clip on came back around and hit me right above the knee pad. so they do shift around. but i wear them under my pants.

 

+1, had same pair of fox's for like 3-4 years, I wash them alot! stock(lol) straps are too long, cut them and sewed the velcro back back, so I can get them super tight

 

wish I woulda been wearing my shin guards when my bike slammed down on me and took me for a ride right under my truck. I have the icons and they just dont stay up so i just wear my vest, helmet, and gloves.

i used to know a dude that wore those, he had the swag to pull it off. i dont think you could find any more protection than that

 

who makes some that fit those with a larger calfular area...lol... but for real though i need some myself

these are the ones i have. super light weight. i agree with tanus on the straps being a lil long though. i have to pull them all the way over so there is a bunch of excess strap hangin off. sounds like the tanus mod would fix that though.
ROOKIE- these have enough strap to go around both your big *** calves!
