endos/stoppies use of back brake?

How many of you just use the front brake?

i know when i hit the back brake it really comes up fast

now do you:
-------- tap it and an let off?
---------jam on the brake and keep your foot on it?
---------hit the brake and let off and then hit the gas?
---------or not even use the back brake in a stoppie/endo?

oh

and what speeds do you usually use the back brake at.

i tried it at about 50, it came right up and went a little too far and then i got head shake, i thought i was going to flip

is there any thing you can do when it goes too high or do ya just kiss the pavement

I just kick the back break when it comes up, honestly I dont know if I stay on the break or get off of it cause it's been so long since I've rode. Don't know what to tell ya about coming up to high, last time I flipped a windscreen I just kept on the break until my feet touched the ground, then I ran, lol.

No need to tap the back brake in an endo. The forward momentum acts as a gyro-affect and helps keep the bike going straight.

Everybody has their own style, so do whatever feels comfortable to you .

I just hit the brake before I set it down to make it slient, but in theory when you hit the rear brake it'll kick the bike up faster like when jumping dirt bikes etc. As jimmy stated it definately helps ya go straight if you let it spin the whole way.

I put the bike in neutral to keep the tire spinning- then tap the brake before I put it down to keep it from clunking.

so the clutchunking sound is from the tire spinnin when it hits the ground ? I though it was just the whole swingarm and tail section making noise from comin down so hard.

so

so not many of you use the back brake you all just hammer the front brake

i always left it in gear, i dont care for coming to a complete stop
neutral may be good for up to 60mph but i am not putting it in neutral at 90-100

I was researching this at the track all week. If I'm rollin for distance, I let it spin till just before I set it down. If im tryin to turn a 180 then I hit it at the beginning.

brake

I dont use the back brake at all. Its just one less thing to think about when there is plenty of other things to be concentrating on.......steering, balance, front brake pressure etc,....

I just started doing endos, I haven't used the back brake at all. What does shifting into neutral do?
