So let's pay 3g or so before the frame is even broke and go threw all of this..

Say you go threw 2 frames the entire time you have your bike, you would change frames just as much rather u buy a aftermarket frame or another stock 1..

IF you have to buy another stock frame your out about 1g..
Less if you don't buy a clean title frame..

IF you buy a aftermarket your out 3g or so..

If you don't brake a frame your saving over 3g.. + You don't have to tear your bike down at all!

Doesn't seem like it's worth it to buy an aftermarket to me.

You might have a couple BALLERS that will buy the frame but not many people.

I am not going to hate though, if you want to put in the time/money to try to make some bank go for it! I just don't see it being profitable.

Re: Custom stunt frames

i think it would be a great idea if you lower that price.

1500 for a stuntpurpose built frame with clean tittle sounds like a perfect price.

make it and people will buy it.

i would definatly say get some real professionals on board to help out to make sure its done ride and a success.

as usual Thomas would be the guy to talk to. but if your going to do it. dont half *** it.

The weight woulld maybe be maybe heavier or even lighter depending on what needs to be done.....steel tubing is cheaper than aluminum and stronger.....im sure it wouldnt cost 3gs for one but it is a damn good idea. Aluminum is a pain in the *** to weld. It gets to hot it will break if you get it to cold it breaks. Steel would be the way to go. And say u buy a cracked framed stuntbike for 1000 bucks.....if its 2000 theres u a bullet proof bike for 3gs.....very good idea man. If you can push the business i think it would be good. I think sketchy said in this thread he went through 3 frames....if they were all clean, theres ur 2000 to 2500.
Not tryin to bust anybodys ***** either. Just like the fact that people want to broaden the sport by making these kind of parts that we need!!! Especially now c4 and rk armor are making crazy bullet proof parts. The more companys and parts the better

+1 if it was about profit he's stay building 30+ thousand dollars race bikes from the ground up. gs aint **** to try and help another sport out.that isnt a set price it was like a fast thought it could be 1500 to maybe even 2000 who's knows right now.

Re: Custom stunt frames

ive never broken or cracked a frame and if i did id scrap the whole bike and get another one. i dont see it being a lucrative business at this point in the game but you wont know for sure unless you give it a try. oh and someone was kinda talking **** about ppl trying to make money off stunters.....well duh, what do you think a business is for? to make money, fine if they care about the "sport" too, but really, ppl gotta eat and **** aint free.

Agree completely. Average price for a frame with a clean title is around $1000. I'd pay the extra $500 if I needed one to ensure it would be the last one I ever need. I think $1500 would be the max I would pay for a custom made clean titled stunt frame
