+1

$1000 all day you can find a frame for any bike clean title, and probably under $500 to have any frame plated welted and heat treated

Re: Custom stunt frames

I think it's clear that we'll see custom frames come as soon as the person with the right skill set and connections comes along.

I'd like to see someone make generic aftermarket frames with all sorts of adapter kits to bolt on whatever forks/motor/subframes/swingarms and what not that you wanted. Lego style custom stuntbikes

Re: Custom stunt frames

Some rich person with alot of money to blow on the sport needs to just create a "STUNT BIKE". A whole bike designed just for stunt riding, with a plethora of snap on snap off style interchangable parts.

Travis *cough* barker.

Re: Custom stunt frames

having different front ends should be easy, just pick a commin size hole for the neck where a common bearing outer race would fit.

Its just a general topic right now to see what riders think of it.If thats where your thoughts are on it then ok if not then say what you think could help in the process.
Don't worry about it, man. I had a guy or two try to give me **** for starting my business saying I was trying to make money off the sport. Some people don't understand that our love for the sport overflows into ideas of how to make things better for the sports future. If you have a good idea, run with it!

Re: Custom stunt frames

C4 has made a steel stunt frame two months ago BUT the price is not worth it. they cost way to much money and people will not pay for them. Thats what I have found out.

Re: Custom stunt frames

Trying to make money off the sport? Well no ****! Isnt that the point of a business?? Its to make money! Not to make and design products for everyone to get for dirt cheap. When you open a business you make money to keep going and pay for your troubles of making new products.....i just dont ****** get people....so stupid....
Everybody on here busts everybodys ***** bout ****. Between new business or trying to make new ideas to help this sport evolve and these retards get on here and complain....idiots

Re: Custom stunt frames

Hmm well considering that a generic mass produced chopper frame usually runs around $3gs (more demand for it as well) I dont see a sport bike frame being much cheaper. It seems like a bit of an uphill battle to start but a few years from now it could all be worth it. Get some proto types together. Have some credible reviews and mayb some mag attention then you'll have tons of people lusting for em. Cost wouldnt b that bad to compared to the advantage it could provide.

Re: Custom stunt frames

steel tube frames would be awsome and i would prolly invest in one....idk bout everybody else but i went through two frames on my 636 and i hate tearing my bike down to a million pieces to put a new frame on. If they wanna ride pieces of **** that crack, snap, then let their motors fall out in a highchair and spend 10s of thousands of dollars in medical bills then more power to em. I think it would be an awsome idea
