Gearing is different for everyone. Some people ride stock gearing for everything. I run +10(56) for everything

Re: need advice!!!!!!!!!

954 front end is

56 on an f4i is +10... i use it for lots and streets and it works good. Just remember more gearing makes throttle more twitchy. Usually easier for people to learn on stock or close to stock gearing.

Just keep practicing you'll get it.

Re: need advice!!!!!!!!!

Somewhat related question...

When I read the old threads, why do the avatars for most of the old peeps show up all squirrelly looking and pixelated?

Anybody know?

Technically it should make it come up more violently, and the throttle will be more touchy

But do what you wanna do, I'd suggest riding stock tell you can hold a wheelie at a steady speed personally

honestly running +14 on my f4i, I ride 140miles one way regularly, and the noise of the motor doesn't bother me at all. at 80mph I can't hear the motor, I just hear wind noise

I've been rocking +14 on the streets for around 2 years now, doesn't bother me at all
