Exhaust block off plate for 05-06 636 swingarm on an 03-04 636

any pics of it mounted? (plate) plus i like that idea of them universal, i dont see why they wouldnt, wait correction it would just need a lil bit longer rod cuz the back is thicker right

Re: Front Axle pegs

Valid point. The K6 Gixxer hole on the right front is too small to fit allthread through. How will you remedy that? Drilling is a pain in the *** and then creates a weak point.

They look like they might replace the front axle.

Im going to go to a local shop and test fit this set and see what we need to do to get them on other bikes. I would think they would be universal for the rear also other than the rod going through would need to be longer. I will do some R&D today and see what we can figure out. Shouldnt be a big deal to ge them on every bike. Solid axles would pose a bit of a problem, but we always find a way around those minor set backs.

We definately didnt forget about f4i's. I ride an 03-04 636 so its always in the shop for mock up. Ill get on this first thing this morning and see what we can come up with.

Re: Front Axle pegs

Ok weve got the lengths of rod figured for the front and rear on 03-04 636 and 05-06 636. What we'll do is make a kit to where you can get both rods so they are interchangeable. Headin out for a bit to go test fit an f4i, 929, and 600rr.

Re: Front Axle pegs

2-2,5 in long pegs are good, if they are longer they can bend your forks on a hard drop, I speak from experience from when I pancaked my 954 last year.

Re: Front Axle pegs

Ok heres what we have them for so far.

FRONT
03-04 636/zx6
05-06 636/zx6
07-08 zx6
00-03 gsxr 750
01-03 gsxr 600
Same body style GSXR 1000 i think its 00-01

REAR
05-06 636/zx6
07-08 zx6
same gsxrs listed above
07-08 600RR
03-05 R6
R6s
06-07 R6

I need to get a 929,954, or f4i in the shop. They have a bolt that threads into the axle tube and couldnt find out anything in the bike shops. I will get on these asap.
