Re: Which method do u prefer?

You ride with a group or have any stunt buddies? It helps a lot to have people that know how to stunt around you to watch, ask questions, watch you and give you advice etc. Where you at in Texas?

When I watched the videos you were not getting the bike up high enough, (balance point). Parking lot stunting is way harder than highway stunting too. Ever get her out on any open road and try to get it past balance point or to balance point? You will know when you get your bike up to this point because you will either slow your speed down or maintain your speed.

I recomend you get on a empty farm road or a seldomly used open road and try wheeling at a little faster speed. Not highways either and have someone there just in-case you do hurt yourself. Another way if you got a couple of friends to help you is have them pick the front tire of your bike up to it's balance point while your sitting on the bike and feel the position of the bike. Become one with this position.

Re: Which method do u prefer?

just man up. 1st gear with idle up, just barley rolling, pull in the clutch, cover brake, gas it and dump it, learn the brake. keep it slow and you wont hurt yourself to bad. lol

Re: Which method do u prefer?

I use method 1 for just about everything. Its just comfortable to me. Seems like everytime Iv tried to just rev and drop the clutch I break my sub (could b that I ride a gixxer) Id rather drag the clutch than the rear brake. Its just what ur comfortable with. If can get it up and keep it up then who cares.

Re: Which method do u prefer?

You are putting way too much thought into it, when all you need is more practice. Next time you come down to ride, leave the 50 at home and concentrate on riding the 636. You need to come out to the other spot that is a really long dead end road and practice riding wheelies at balance point. Once you can ride a controlled slow wheelie at balance point then you should start working on catching idle.

#2 is just as controllable i think if you start that way, plus it looks more dangerous.

edit: i think it'd be best to have both methods on lock...that is.. a good rider would..not me[banghead]

Re: Which method do u prefer?

A couple of things:

1) Fiddy's kill watch out!!!

2) Jacob did u move? I'm lost...816?

3) Props for actually posting practice vids...most ppl talk and dont show. Its easier for them to help if they see what your doing. (I am in no way a source of guidance bc my ***** are tied to the payments I'm still making LOL)

4) Jimmy...cage/12 are in and about to get db's, stunt stay, and dual cal setup then the bike will be ready for the horribad torture of learning.

5) This weather SUCKS!!!! Teens in TX are you kidding me?!?!?!?

Green is good Red is bad
