Re: Banned from the WERA forums
It obvious that he's an idiot. He's racing a TLR1000..... Great choice right there. Lets take an overweight, under powered twin that is about decade and "race" it.
Re: Banned from the WERA forums
this thread is funny why compare apples and bananas? i enjoy both i just got into track days this year and love it. now i wouldnt call myself a stunter at all but i have respect for both sports. stunt life is a good site for drama have fun guys.
Re: Banned from the WERA forums
not all road racers hate stunters jason britton road with team pro motion on 2 track days. did a show for the njmp ama race. he did another show with pro motion i forget when.
Re: Banned from the WERA forums
it sounds to me like you stunterz are just jealous. you guys are too ***** to drag your knee on the ground at high speed so you just figure out how to make going slow kind of cool. and before you say we do wheelies at over 100 mph, every other roadracer does that on the cool off lap of a race, not to show off, just a way of showing gratitude and appreciation for corner workers and fans. so when it comes down to it, roadracers
stunerz.
stunerz.
Re: Banned from the WERA forums
This is one of the most retarded threads to date.
Not too mention all the newb squids who can barely ride wheelies trying to antagonize a childish situation.
Sorry if anyone that I would consider a friend on here takes it to heart, this is not intended at anyone in particular.
For those that signed up over there just to poke the beast you got the exact reaction you should have expected correct?
For everyone else wasting keystrokes to try and legitimize something to non stunt riders, what is the point? We know the prize money keeps growing, many of our guys are getting factory rides and good product and money sponsorships ... why even waste the energy getting irritated with some guys that we care nothing about?

Re: Banned from the WERA forums
Don't blame Paz on WERA! A few of the chuckleheads who have shown up are (most likely) from the WERA board but don't blame him on me.
I'll admit I don't always "get" stunting but some of the **** you all do is pretty cool to watch.

Re: Banned from the WERA forums
ok, my honest to god opinion here. stunting - cool motorcycle sport thats entertaining to watch and requires a very specific skillset. personally i dont find anything wrong with it. do i choose to partake in it? no. if i wanted to stunt could i do it? possibly but not without more practice than i have time for. my personal preference - racing. is it any better or any worse? no. i tend to enjoy watching racing more but thats my personal preference and im not going to sit here and say its more of a sport or requires more skill than stunting. i just couldnt help myself though. finally got a little bit annoyed by some of your jackasses (we have some too) coming on our site startin **** to stir the pot. finally felt the need to stir it a lil myself on your turf. but like i said i actually do respect you guys just as i do my fellow racers. keep ridin, stay safe, rock on.
as far as the tlr1000, my dad won a WERA Heavyweight twins championship on that pig against RC51s, Ducs, SV1000s, etc. and now i race it in his memory. Is it the most ideal racebike? no. but im sure as you guys know the best rider doesn't have to have the best bike to win. that goes for racing and stunting.
huffy10speed/r1wonder. stick around over at WERA. you seem like a cool enough guy i would just suggest to keep the stunting stuff to a minimum. not because i or the majority of the board have a problem with it but a select few ******** do. and these are the same guys that will also jump a fellow racer's **** for no reason, but naturally the mods will probably take the racers side just because hes been around a lot longer. plus i do agree with some of the guys that pointed out that WERA is a racing forum, not stunting thats what you have this site for. and as im sure you noticed most of us over there have a problem with aggressive street riding. not necessarily empty parking lots but actual streets.
and dave quit being such a *****. we have a reputation to uphold here!!!

Re: Banned from the WERA forums
I ******* love RACERS and their huge EGO's
I have been called out to the race track for years by local racers! Im sure you fellow stunt guys know the usual story "Come out to the track and really learn how to ride a sport bike" "Stunting is easy" etc etc
I have been street riding 8 years and stunting for 4
And just recently I decided to finally get out and try track riding, I did really well and I had people tell me "you should really get into racing" So I did, only 4 weeks after trying track for the first time, and guess what. I ******* schooled %90 of the people in my first rookie club race, people that have been riding the track for alot longer then me...And I mean alot longer!
Just to put it into perspective there was 32 people in my race, it was only my 5th time ever track riding. I started the qualifying race in 22nd position, and qualified 4th...Then I placed 3rd in the actual race....On my street bike with race tires, and not one sponsor!
Both 1st and 2nd place have both been track riding for 9 years, racing for a few years...Have sponsors, actual prepped race bikes, with tons of suspension and tuning...
I ******* love it because not only did I enjoy myself alot, nobody is saying **** like that to me anymore!

Lets see a RACER try stunting 5 times on their race bike, enter a amateur comp and place 3rd....Stunters know how to ******* ride, we just like to ride wheelies!

Nah, not being a ***** it's just that I just don't care. I don't have to clean up any messes, baby sit or deal with any plain old stupid assed bullshit here. I can cuss <motherf@cker!>, spit, fart and just plain old not think about jackshit over here.
A lot of the people here seem cool, a few are retarded f@ckheads just like over at the WERA BBS. Except here, they're not my problem.
