riding the other day; 03 r6. new to stunting so still learning; tring to find bp and ended up scraping 12 bar. bike started falling over to the side and i bailed. bike came down hard on crash cage and stalled. could not get it to start back up. i have the tipover sensor taped to lock in position. i could hear the fuel pump runing so i know this was not the problem. after some time checking and rechecking switchs, plug connectors and everything else i started tearing down the bike to check fire at the plugs and other things. when i disconnected the fuel line gas just kept pouring out and would not stop. drained tank and turned over and heard clunk inside. pulled fuel pump out and it had came apart at the clips. cliped it back together and reinstalled and no other problems. has this happended to anyone before? is it common? what other weird crap should i be on the look out for when i dump it( as we all know i will )?
