Exclamation 2006 636 bogging problem

How is it going?

Having a lil bit of a problem with my 636 out at the spot right now. It will run fine..... then bog out..... restart..... run fine for 10 mins.... bog.... run fine... bog out. The pair valve hose came loose the other day, but I fixed that. Any ideas? Please help... as I really want to stay riding tonight. Thanks a ton!

I don't think I was having those problems until the hoses came off. No pressure building up. After I posted, I moved my power commander a lil farther from the exhaust, as it seemed like it was getting too hot. Didn't have any more problems the entire night. Super weird.

Re: 2006 636 bogging problem

****, you can make a stock bike run cooler on stunt idle (3-4.5k) with a power commander. Dont have one on mine yet but I will be doing it shortly. I wanna richen up where my bike idles to help with temp issues

Re: 2006 636 bogging problem

I've been dealing with them for 5 years & I know that between 2-8000rpm is really lean from the factory. That is the range the EPA test in so they must meet certain standards (super lean) in that range. Think about, add more fuel at your stunt idle at 0% throttle opening & im sure you can drop a few degrees of heat and dial the bike to respond better clutch out of circles & stuff. Think about the side skitching advantages

Re: 2006 636 bogging problem

WE are a power commander dealer so if anybody wants one.......I can map it for your stuntbike while its still in the package & ship it. I have TONS of experiance at this from mapping racing quads to turbo drag bikes
