Re: 05-06 636 Sub Brace Version 2.0

on my 06 i just ran a piece of flat steel from the 12 bar mount holes all the way down to the rearset mounting holes and it was strong as hell...2nd gear bar drags crashes, whatever it would take it, me and drastic would come in 2nd gear taped and see who could drag the further (hundreds of feet)...its strong as hell with those and their easy as hell to make so if you have any problems you might look into that....

Re: 05-06 636 Sub Brace Version 2.0

Ya but theres that stupid bend in our subs....did yall bend it by hand? I used a 20 ton press and just welded that ish

figured i might as well connect both sides-theres plenty of room in the passenger seat for steel 1/4" strap

i dont gorilla scrape so that should'nt be a problem-the subframe mounts on the actual frame itself are beefy as hell-i think it would take a king kong scrape to bust the frame tabs off

but of course we're talking about a 636 frame, so I'm probably 100% wrong and the tabs will crack like the motor mounts do.

Re: 05-06 636 Sub Brace Version 2.0

if the tabs on my frame break off, I'll extend the steel straps to the frame, then to the cage and all the way around the upper; wink 1100 style, entire-bike cage LMAO

Went to the Frankford lot yesterday. Dog,,,,,,,,, you got to go out there with me. I love that place already. Was out there till 9:00 last night but did stay to long. I am even sore today.

There are some sick *** stunters out there. Plenty of inspiration or instructions if you just go talk to the guys. Team 360 was out there last night tearing up that parking lot. Some just parked there bikes and watched. I was the squid in there way. I eventually went across the street and was getting the hang of my hand brake. I love my new hand brake now.

I am going out there any time it's not raining. Do you know where it is Peter? PM me if not and I will get ya directions.

Okay, now back on topic. When are you ready to test that bitch out? We got to get back out and break something

I crashed a couple of times yesterday out at the Frankford lot but was able to in a standup slow it down enough to scape 12 bar and park it and was gettting my sitdowns to the point I scraped 12 on one of the sitdowns without wrecking

I am STOKED!!!!! Hurting but stoked.

Sorry grumpy Armenian

You still didn't answer my question. In order to really prove any new design out we have to send the proto type through it's paces, (you have to drag that bitches tail hard) and then we will go into production phase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

When can we begin the testing or will you NOT be in class????????????????????
