Re: new bike/new problems
Did you ever think that parts get shipped defective? Please tell me you're not one of those guys that thinks spark plugs are pre-gapped..
Ok, her's your options.
*Inspect the coolant. Is there any carbon (black **** floating around in it)or oily/milky residue? This could be a bad head gasket or cracked head/block...
*check the thermostat as described above.
*flush the radiator to make sure it's flowing good - do the same for the block.
*check operation of the fan, does it come on? What temp?
*check the operation of the water pump for flow or obstruction.
*last option, wait till it's below 40 out to ride.

Re: new bike/new problems
ok the problem is the radiator is gunked up with this hard *** white ****, about half/ three quarters the radiator dont flow water so i need a new one. anybody got one????
Re: new bike/new problems
put some CLR or hard water deposit remover through it. go to Home Depot and look for it there. fill the rad up and lay it flat and let it soak over night. Should eat away at the deposits in there.
