okay so i got my round bar on.. and hooked up a make shift led brake light... but where I put it.. my buddies said you can't see it good during the day.. only at night.. what else could i do? and does anyone have pictures of what you did about a tail light? thanks

 

led strip mounted right below ur round bar

 

wheres it at??? is it facing down mounted to flat cross plate on roundbar???if so just remount it there but facing behind you

 

you don't see the LED tail light up underneath the under tail? lol.. look again.. unless you can't see the picture.. it's like above the tire hugger

 

mount it to the round bar on the flat spot

your gonna get rear ended having it down by the hugger

 

are you talking about mounting it on that plate below the bar? if soo...I'm not sure where to find a led strip to mount there..

 

Check out the trailer lights at walmart, they carry different shapes/sizes so I'm sure you could find something that would fit. Or HAI sells this (kind pricey):

right above ur plate but below the round bar..... kind of right in between ur turns.

 

ok,ya i see it now....just get a LED strip light out of parts unlimited catalog and mount it on the flat plate that the "u" bar on your round bar bolts to

 

right in front of your plate. lol

 

I mounted mine under neath that flat part on the round bar. I dropped the tail light down about a half inch below the bar using some aluminum strips that you can buy at menards. Go on Ebay and look up LED or Just tail light. 17 bucks shipped and ya can't beat that price.

 

yeah I know... that's just a small flat spot to put a led light.. so I was hoping for opinions if it's bright enough and what not.

I looked at one of our local walmarts and they didn't have anything small enough.. I can try another one.. and that 3inch one on the hai site looks tight.. but it's still $50. and not sure how long it would take to order.

i just wanna mount it somewhere it will look good and be able to see it.

he aint ridin yet. he don't even have his parts yet. you better start doin slower wheelies so we can go down there and show him how to ride. haha

 

And they just told me today that they got that rim tape at the shop. haha. go buy some and get that led strip while you're there too.
