Re: 2003 636 Forks...

Question.

Do the 03 wheels fit into the 07 forks with no issues?
I see people running 07 wheels with this set-up with no issues, but people on kawiforums.com running 07 wheels on 03-04 forks require wheel spacers.
just wondering if anyone has noticed this or know more about it.
do the 03 wheels mount into 07 forks without any issues on spacing? or will different wheel spacers be needed?

It will work for the front wheel only, i have 07-08 forks with 05-06 wheels and 03-04 spacers, spacers are the same, only difference is the 03-04 spacers are made of steel and the 05-08 spacers are aluminum

I know the 05-06 wheels will work. my question is the for the 03 wheels. I have 03 wheels and calipers. 07 forks, 07 fender, and 06 rotors. Will the 03 wheels still work with this set up without modifying the wheel spacers?

you did. my bad.
I just wasn't sure if the 03 wheels are a different width from the 05-08.
But besides the fact that they are a 3 spoke in 03-04 and a 6 spoke 05-08 everything else is the same, (as far as fitment?)
Thanks for the input. Rotors get here Friday so I'll find out for sure and post up with pics on the install.
