I know a few people who bought these from china and hong come its like a crap roll some are good some suck.. There is a company in united stated who sells complet sets for around 700 and all have been awsome . I will try to find the company or link

them e-bay ones are junk they look good in the pic but are no good for fitment on the bike got some about 2 years ago and nothing lined up right.

i got a set from hong kong... they need a little shaving to fit, but have held up nice so far. you will spend about an extra 100 or so in heat tape for the inner parts of the fairings, and it will save the paint and any warping. i like mine so far

my friend got a set for his 07 cbr , wasnt to good overall the nose cone was really bad , he ended up taking them off and never using them

****, I got the same thing for a cbr 600 and it was shitttt. Same picks and everything I’m drunk and all but don’t trust those mother ******* I ended up selling all of It.!!!

 

some parts line up some don't.. half of your fairing can line up correct and the other half you need to adjust.. sometimes the whole piece lines up fine.. sometimes none of it does.. like no limit said.. its a crap shoot you never know.. i wouldn't but 2 of my friends just did a month and two months ago..

 

auctmart seems to be the only one on ebay selling them that have a good fit up

 

**** auctmart I bought a fairing kit from them for my zx10r and NOTHING FIT NOT ONE SINGLE PIECE! They told me because its aftermarket its not going to fit.

 

i wouldnt be surprised if nicecycle actually buys them from china and sells them in the states
i was about to buy a set for my 1KRR but thought that fixing OEM ones is the way to go ... also check www.auctmarts.com 1000RR.net forum guys talk nice about them

 

For newer bikes.... try www.optimalracing.com . Awesome bodywork and cheap. Just got a set for my 03 rr.

 

The ones from china are really thin, and it's like each set has different holes drilled like they are done by hand or something. Just go naked

 

Where did you get the OEM's fixed at?

 

They also talk about how poor the fitment was and the paint peeling along with everything else on the 1000rr forum, 600rr forum, and cbrforum. They still get negative feedback regarding fitment. And I bet a lot of the people leave feedback before they even get the plastics on the bike. I bought my plastics from them in Oct. of 2007 and everything was garbage. Took months before I got a refund and they shorted me over a 100 bucks. Ended up watching ebay for months until I found a good deal for Oem plastics. So all I'm saying is don't expect to get plastics that fit. I speak from first hand experience.

i bought some ebay hong kong fairings last month, they werent from that company but mine fit perfect first try. only piece that didnt fit right was my tale piece and thats cause my subframe is bent to ****. i think i got lucky but i gotta say the ones i got look gangsta. everywhere i take the bike i get compliments.

for oem plastics i would look on ronayers.com they have great prices
