after 12 hours it finally fit okay, not good, just okay

wouldnt do it again unless i was cleaning up a bike to flip. not worth the PITA

if you order get them from motofansclub i had a set for my 08 cbr they fit like a glove no problems with the paint and the shipping from hong kong only took like 7 days. if you need replacements its a bitch. but everything i ordered fit no problem. the farings on nicecycle are the same ones from hong kong they just pay the shipping thats why they are more expensive.. they are all made in china

 

i put a set of ebay fairings on my ol' 99 Cbr 900rr

sides having to fab a bunch of the stock brackets i didn't have the fairings bolted up pretty much like they should....

Deff wasnt a factory fit but for gettin all new plastics for 500 shipped i wasn't complaining at all...


went from this when i got it....




to this after ebay china plastics.....




up close there were minor imperfections here and there but in pics it looked great and in person it looked great unless you got really up close and personal....

 

Anyone have experience with these fairings?? I wouldnt mind paying 800 for a quality set made in America. Also they are very local to me so I would hopefully avoid shipping costs, although I cant find any shipping charges even in Checkout... maybe shipping price is included??

i know from a shop i deal with they purchased a set of fairinbgs for a 05 gsxr 600 from nicecycle...i couldnt even tell they were aftermarket till he told me bout the one paint run in them which was not noticeable unless u were told bout it...they fit perfect...i also know turtles new cbr he got had nicecyle plastics on it when he bought it...he hasnt said anything good bout the plastics, and when he tried to melt and dent the tank on the cbr600rr that cracked....so it could be just luck of the draw u know

 

i got aftermarket plastics from hot bodies racing for like 6 or 7 hundred bucks. definetly not a set of oem platics but they work for me. some of the **** needs to be zip tied in order to stay nice and snug. but if you beat your bike like it owes you something than they dont need to be perfect I.M.O. pretty bikes are for pretty boys

you do realize that it was asian bastards that makes the entire bike that we ride including the oem plastics that come on your bike...?

my brother bought a set for his 1000rr and they worked out pretty well, had to use some different bolts to mount some of the stuff and def use heat tape but they look real good and mounted up fine.
