I got tickets from yamaha for motogp a year or two ago, pissed me off i couldnt go and had to give them away. would love to make this but ohhh weelllllll
Re: **** LeoVince....
you should know that the word amateur isnt even allowed to be spoken at an event this big. it is the largest level of motorcycle competition in the world and you think small timers are goingto perform alongside it, no way

Re: **** LeoVince....
Ok, don't take this the wrong way. Please read into it before you think I'm just arguing to do so because I'm not.
MotoGP is the premier racing format for motorcycling in my and many others opinion. The fans of the sport are expecting excellence on motorcycles. So within reason it would be best to showcase the best freestyle riders possible. So if it was to be a contest I believe it should be an XDL event, just like Indy. And the last thing XDL is would be considered a no handed circle competition.
More information about the event, Ernie and I have been scheduled to ride our Hypermotards at the event for months, Bill on his Yamaha, and from what I understand Teach on his BMW. The original idea was going to be a factory battle. Now it's factory demonstrations with SBF doing something, what I have no idea.
Most important fact of all, what draws people back is recognition and feeling a relationship with the riders. Just like when people come to MotoGP they already have a rider they want to win. By formatting an open/armature comp all it would have done is perpetuated the idea we're not a developed sport and rather a bunch of guys who ride for fun/free and don't need to be taken seriously. And a lot of us are out there working hard for the sport to be taken seriously.

Re: **** LeoVince....
That's 100% incorrect. Kane said it all very well. And like I said in my post. We've been scheduled to do the show for months. Whatever part the exhaust company has in no way directly influenced its happening. Just like you have the RedBull this and Pepsi that, you can apparently have the LeoVince freestyle area. All in all, I'm happy they sold the advertising spot. The more I think about it the more it starts to **** me off. There is NO WAY that they took the competition away. I've spoke with my reps in the past and known the 1 hour block schedule was set for months. So if anyone took the competition idea away it was the person in charge of the track entertainment. I hope that none of the Leo reps ever read this post because it makes us look like immature whiners. All they did was try to help and get their name associated with our sport. And here's this post, showing negative returns for their good will.
Thanks for supporting our sport LeoVince.

lol yeah, they want to see some weekend warrior go out there and wad it up in front of a bunch of people, spreading oil and coolant all over the track and **** off the entire racing community....

Re: **** LeoVince....
Well........guess I heard wrong. It might help if guys in the know, like Thomas, would fill me in.....instead of telling me things like..."Yeah, its goin on for sure!" when I ask if there is a comp at Laguna like there was at Infineon. Then I hear that Kel's telling people LeoVince fucked them over AFTER sbf seeked THEM out.
If I'm wrong, I'm wrong........whatever. Whole thing sounds fishy to me. Kindof expected it, due to the size of Laguna.
All you guys that think this is about me need to pull your heads out of your *** and try looking at what I typed.
If LeoVince didn't do ANYTHING to disrespect SBF, then my appologies. If they DID disrespect SBF in any way........my opinion stands.

Re: **** LeoVince....
Yeah.....they might be doing shows ON the TRACK.......not at a dedicated stunt spot.
As far as shows at GP.........two years straight, there wasn't one show. Might have been second and third year, I get 'em mixed up. I'm from Mendo.
Yes, I do remember seeing CP at one event.

Re: **** LeoVince....
That's not at all my problem. My problem is that the event was already a scheduled competition, then LeoVince cancelled it because they didn't want their sponsored riders to get shown up, kinda like Britton did at Infineon. Granted, Britton gave the riders at the comp MAD props because he knew they were busting out WAY harder than he was.....BUT....LeoVince still didn't like the fact that their sponsored rider got shown up. That's my take on the whole thing. Otherwise.....there would be absolutely NO reason to cancell a competition that could become one of the biggest comps in the US, aside from XDL. Terrible decision for the SPORT as a whole, IMO.
People like variety......not the same old faces and styles. LeoVince is intimidated by variety......it could bring a new rider to the table that outshines one of their sponsored riders......OH, NO!!!! ****.
**** LeoVince!!

**** LeoVince!!

anyone wanna re-read that a few times and let me know if you guys took it the way I did? I never made this **** about you josh, except to try and let you know (nicely) that you did NOT know the whole story.. but you still keep rambling
side note - It would never ever become one of the biggest comps, especially with the track paying $1200 and someone actually agreeing to it
oh and the stunt spot argument... lemme ask this, say Leo Vince signed on to sponsor the food court... do you think they would not have had a food court if they didnt get a sponsor for it??
Re: **** LeoVince....
the point of the red typing was so you could see what I was saying inside of your quote, so that I could respond to each point, its a common practice when replying to emails that contain multiple questions

Yeah.......I'm just getting guys upset that I fully respect. Not one of my better threads.
Unfortuneately.......it can be really hard to get your true points across through a keyboard. If I was talking face to face w/ these guys, I'm positive MOST of them would understand where I'm coming from. Kindof a bummer. Oh, well.
SORRY to those I might have offended. Honestly thought I was looking out for the best interest of the sport.

As for the stunt spot(food court...LOL) sponsorship........NO.....a normal venue would NOT have a "food court" if no one stepped up to pay the sposorship fees(insurance, set-up. ect.). You know this.
Oh....and I never said you made this about me......I said it would've been nice if my informant would've further informed me, instead of telling me......"Dude.....you are wrong!"
