when i went down that was my first instinct pull my arms in and roll to a stop and i went down at 70+ but ive had a broken wrist from throwing my arms down first

thats fucked up hope he is able to hop back on a bike and not loose his nerv alot of guys get scared after goin down and change their hobby last time i went down i was doin about 35-40 and all i had on was a white tee and jeans fucked my knee up pretty good took 4-5 months for the pain to go away but i got back on the hose and rode off in to the sun set

 

Well he's home from the hospital. He had alot of gravel embedded in there. You guys were right, that peg caught him. Peg saved the bike, but fucked up his arm. today I already started stripping down his bike for him, he's running it full streetfighter since he cracked the fairing stay and a few other odds and ends that sealed the deal to run it naked. He wants to be back on the road in a month or two to cruise, but is stunting next season lol. Takes alot to stop this guy!

Lol you've got that right. We've got pot-holes the size of craters and random "bumps" that show up at the most inconvenient of times. If anyone on here does chicago riding, and is familiar of 290 eastbound toward downtown....He went down right around manneheim exits. Any of you riders know how nasty this highway can be. It was our first time taking it this season. From now on, 90 eastbound is our new route downtown!
