Lots of good cage companies, I rode FI before I was supported by them and would still will rock em if they didnt! Keep your bike tight and it will eliminate alot of problems!

Those cages have too much leverage on the sliders and not enough support keeping it from bending. I would have rather replaced the side cover, rear-set and handle bar than go through the **** I did getting the bolt and broke drill bits out. I hope it happens to you FI lovers.
Maybe you should swap your keyboard skills in on some riding skill and you wouldn't be crying about a stripped bolt. I love how people need a brake that can stop a truck and a cage that can save the world to make up for their lack of skill. take off your gearing, cage and handbrake and see how much skill you really have. I bet you would be humbled in a real hurry, might even take up figure skating which is exactly what this sport needs. Pussies weeded the **** out !!

Re: F*ck fi cages...

I have run FI cages for 0ver 6yrs and have to say i wouldnt if i didnt think they work. ran them on a 01 gsxr, 03 600rr, and 01 f4i. if you pancake your bike and one of the components get worn or damaged ie. stretched bolts dont stunt till you get it repaired. negligence is no excuse. and you shouldnt blame the manufacturer

actually I bet they sell like 10x's more cages than any other company, like every squid with a bike has one, even though they dont even stunt

(Im assuming your being sarcastic)

FI cages are strong as hell as long as the bolts are tight. its your bike that you should be calling a piece of ****.

Re: F*ck fi cages...

FI cages suck a gang of dicks for parking lot riding. one good fall and the bolts bend, one more and they break. i just got a cage from OMR and it has held up like a tank and somehow saved everything on my bike that would have normally broken with the FI cage. if only OMR could mass produce his cages and send them out like his subcages, but u gotta live close to get one.

+30312434 ive bent that bolt exactly like that.... cuz i didnt tighten my ****.. I bought an FI cage cuz i help at a shop that deals tucker rocky so i got it cheap and didnt have to pay upfront. but i like mine... different strokes for different folks i guess. but my next will prolly be an atown or impaktek but it will also be on another bike.

and I wouldnt go out and by a grade 8 bolt, id rather bend grade 5s all day long then brake my frame cuz the bolt held....

maybe some people just ride harder than others and need a cage that lasts longer

I'm not crying about a stripped bolt, I'm crying about the cause. Thats pretty much what this site does in general, it keeps all us pussies with no skill occupied so the real stunners can have the lots. I'm gonna take the cage off and get more gearing because I keep stalling out, if I dont stall out I have no use for the cage. Yeah, I barely use the handbrake, I'm old school, not like you ******* pussies today that have to have it to do a simple tank spreader. Whats it feel like to be a scared little vagina Scotty?
