so i went and saw a mechanic buddy of mine and he said my bike sounded like it needs a carb sync......anyone know what hes talking about? whats a carb sync and how does it effect performance?

 

I need to do that too.

For multiple cylinder bikes you need to sync that carbs cause they get thrown off.

Basically you adjust the vaccum to be the same within each carb and within a specifyed range.

It can make you bike run like **** if there are off

You can also sync throttle bodies in a FI bike...but i dont know much about that
