you want the air flowing from the front to the back so it's sucking air through the radiator

i already told you how to tell if your fan is spinning the right way just make sure the air is flowing from the front of the bike to the back

Re: over heating 05 636????????????

your letting the air bleed out correct?

leaving the radiator cap OFF tell the bike gets to around 90c then putting the cap back on?

Btw anything up to 110c is perfectly fine.. But if your running that temp WITH the fan on at idle or low rpm something is wrong

85C is about 185F so that's about right on the money.
105C is about 220F so that's a bit higher but perfectly acceptable.
115C is about 240F, doing damage much above that.

Normal operating range sounds like 85-110.

I'll check today and let you know how to change your guages back.

Sorry, forgot to add this post.

Your fan should be coming on before 220F, so you're good.

If I reading it correctly, it is pretty simple.

Key on, engine off.
Use the mode selector to scroll past the clock and stopwatch settings until you get to the speedometer highlighted. Then while the mode button is pushed in, push the reset button to change between metric and English modes.

The settings should be... Mile & F, mile and C, Km and F, and Km and C.

Push the reset button until you get the correct combination that you are looking for.

That manual shows it being done out of the bike, but I can't see a reason why you can't do it on the bike. Let me know if it doesn't work.
