Re: Full Throttle Inc Bracket

Well **** i got it on but can not find the f4i caliper i thought i had so just running the kawi one for now. I think it looks a lot more compact than the hohey i had for some reason. and way easier to put the wheel on. Now i cant wait to get the dual 4 piston now after talking to Jason (nme) and hearing how bad *** it is

Re: Full Throttle Inc Bracket

Lord what a ****** day. Put the bracket on which is so ****** sweet looking by the way. Bled out the footbrake but couldnt get the HB to bleed out After hours of ****** with it Inolen came to help and we figured out at that point that the HB caliper was bad 2 of the pistons are seized or frozen or whatever Then since we swapped calipers to try and narrow down the problem - when we put the footbrake caliper back on now that bitch wont build pressure. Fluid is coming out with no ****** air bubbles but it wont build pressure. So we both gave up for the night and then took the caliper off and squeezed the lever and noticed that 1 of the pistons on the FB caliper is now fucked up WTF??? 10 hours and a bottle of brake fluid spilled all over me - and not the cheap **** either - a bottle of motul. Arghhhhhhhhhh.

I do love my new bracket and the footbrake felt gangsta for the 2 second ride I took in the lot when it was working earlier lol. Now I need to find 2 ****** calipers. ****. Just needed to vent again lol.

Re: Full Throttle Inc Bracket

number 2 and t-dub have it too and say they love it.....i know number 2 was having a hell of a time getting his hb to bleed properly too.

from what they've said one of the pimpest things is the ease of taking the wheel on and off......easier than the stock bracket so i hear...

Re: Full Throttle Inc Bracket

i bleed mine with the caliper off the bracket and just put a wrench in between the pads so they don't close up all the way. then you can tap on the pistons with a rubber mallet to work the bubbles loose and have the bleeder up top

+ motherfuckin 1. That **** was so ****** simple to get on. And its definitely easier to get the wheel on with this bracket than the stock bracket

Ah step ahead of you grasshoppa lol. Chino gave me the idea - took a spare rotor I had and just put the caliper on the spare rotor right side up. But mines an issue with the caliper itself which sucks *****. I wish I wouldve realized that earlier instead of wasting so much ****** time with it arghhhhhhhh. tomorrow ima try to clean this caliper and lube the pistons so they slide in and out easier. hopefully that'll do the trick. if not new ****** calipers then
