Fixing a leaky gas cap?

I've got an F4i since i dented my tank its beel leaking gas. I know this is a common thing. Wondering what have guys been doin to fix the problem? Or do you just deal with gas ***?

My roommate's tank didn't leak at all with the stock cap, but it would pour gas from around his Vortex cap. He had to buy a sheet of gasket material and then layer it up around the rim til it stopped....

is it the base or the cap thats leaking? if its the base, make a gasket to add to it. if its the cap, you can get a bigger o ring for it.

any tank i ever dented busted the hinges off the cap, made the cap not sit the right way, made it leak, or put creases in the tank that split the metal and leaked. so cant help you much here.
