Links?

Okay about to order a 525 chain and need to know how many links does anyone have a suggestion. I have a 58 rear and a 15 front. Helpful input would be nice. Thanks

Re: Links?

if you want to be cheap pick up a KMC chain on ebay..

I believ ei spent around $65 on a 122 link to fit a 60t on my f4i!

IMO they appear to be as good of quality as other chains, and are almost half the price...

The guy I ordered off sells specific lengths for specific bikes.. Just pick the shortest one you can use as longer costs more

122 link $65

If you don't wanna go with a kmc, then your other option is to spend $100 for any name brand chain RK, DND

Re: Links?

if you got a chain tool just order the chain a little longer...like 130 links and remove what needs to be removed that way its set up the way you want it thats what i did. no problems.

No chain tool here but I have a drimel I bet that will work. Just grind off the extra links and use a 525 master.

Re: Links?

number of teeth from stock to the size you are buying, divide by two and add one. my 04 GSXR 600 45stock went to 60 =15 divide by 2 =7 1/2 and add 1 so 9 links added to stock cause there isnt a half link...i got a 130 the first time and wasted my money on the extra links cause i only needed 119 links
