i had a 905 cage
and they truly are garbage! i crashed one time and it bent up into my motor. but now i have a-town customs cage, upper stay, scrape bar,and sub cage, and subframe. i yard saled it two sundays ago and didnt bend or break a thing. a-town is the way to go ill try and get some pics up on here of all the stuff. so you can see he does good work.

+1 i supported 905 since the beginning but only as a starting point. we always ground down and rewelded thier cages and added gussets. Aaron is a great guy and was always at the forefront of supporting our sport but his product reflected the rate at which he had to keep up with demand. once sick innovations and tygershark came around, i feel that 905 has fallen behind the times quality wise....

I agree that 905 has been there from the beginning but there are much stronger and longer lasting products available now. but who cares, use what you want to. if you like 905 then use them. lots of people hate FI cages but others swear by them. PERSONAL PREFERANCE !

as a machinist i see all different types of metals from stainless to stavex which costs 72 bucks a square inch one of the most expensive metals out there.
the metal 905 uses is the cheapest **** he can get plain and simple. when you welt **** metal to **** metal it dont last plain and simple. . .

Re: Anyone running the new Racing905 subcage?
its not a bandwagon is commonly known 905 makes horrible ****,i had a 905 on my f4i,and i got a hand me down 905 cage for my 954 from KAZ,it was so bent it took a sledge hammer to get it on right, and that was ater the same cage broke the motor mount on his 954..given 954s motormounts are weak on the right..905 sucks worse. always has and always will, the design and the welds suck my ***.
Re: Anyone running the new Racing905 subcage?
+1...The 905 cage I had was a piece of ****. The welds looked like garbage and cracked on the first drop. There was no penetration whatsoever, just nasty welds on top of the tubing. I ended up cutting the cage apart and welding it back up myself.

"**** 905" just recently my boy payed out the *** for a 03-04 636 upper fairing stay from them, only to recieve it almost 3 weeks later and not to mention it appears that the new ones are being made out of the same thickness material as the heating and cooling vents in my house, and to top it all off the piece off **** didnt even fit in the square intake opening in the 636's frame and would of required the removal of more then an 1/8" of metal via a grinder to get it to fit.....talk about poor craftmanship mabey powers and racing 905 should join forces for the ultimate joke in the stunt community well know for their 3 legged turtle slow shipping and 6 year old welding and fitup skills my son can draw better welds than they put on their products....and best of all they will stay in business because there will always be a neverending sea of squids out there to keep buy useless low quality overpriced stuntparts!!!
