R6 Dies when Stoppie?

Any suggestions... this just started happening yesterday. I rolled like 5 stoppies and Every time it would die and the Check engine light would come on. gas tank was full so that's not it. I'm so lost on this because it just started happening.

Someone please help because this is kind of a big problem... Especially on the Street.

Re: R6 Dies when Stoppie?

have you disabled the tip over sensor? if not, check and make sure its not fucked up. my check engine light is on any time the key is on and the motor is off. maybe thats it?

no it dies during the stoppie, somewhere around the 200 ft mark or so... sounds like it's running out of fuel.

EDIT: same as Yogi i tired with a full or close to it tank, still happens so fuel level is not the problem

It only threw a Check engine light once. and it went off after I turned the Key off and on. Always starts right back

My 05 used to do the same thing....

Since I "fixed" the tip over sensor and did the clean air mod it has been fine

Re: R6 Dies when Stoppie?

its DEF NOT the tip over. if it was you would have to turn the key off and then back on to start it again and you dont.

Re: R6 Dies when Stoppie?

if its an 03, check your coil wires, and coil packs. they recalled them in 03, maybe theyre broken apart internally and the forward motion makes them break connection and lose all spark...
