636 Question

Anyone know what way the countershaft sprocket goes on 03-04 636, i always thought sprockets go writing out, but this one is writing in, someone put a vortex on it and I'm woindering if they did it wrong, has the 1/4in machined spacer side of the sprocket faced in.

Re: 636 Question

spacer goes in i thought .....look at your chain and see if it is lined up , if you have the front sprocket on backwards the chain will go in at an angle

Re: 636 Question

Its looks straight as ****, but I remember hearing that vortex said writing out, and that would be the spacer side out, and I called vortex and they said writing out. But like I said its dame straight, its driving me crazy now, wish I never saw it
