does eny one have pic of how to weld 2 f4i rear brake brackets to make a duel piston set up? im just curious im bored id like to try to do it?...

 

yes, but its hard to get em straight so they dont eat pads and most stock break brackets are made of cast aluminum and weld like **** and will crack and break (even if you have a pro weld it)......so im not saying it cant be done but why go that route when you can buy a hohey 4 piston hb bracket

the metal is really shitty, and like he said if its off your going to be buying the **** out of brake pads.... easiest way would be a hohey, but if ur going for cheap and u want it right now u can do that.... if the metal is not cleaned really well from paint and oil b4 u weld it, it wont hold for ****.... u can cut a groove in both pieces of metal and tig it together and should be fine...... v both pieces so theres a groove.. use a grinder to do this

I have broke 3-4 welded brackets for the f4i just from the pressure of the brakes...... That was before Ho hey.... So just stop being bored and do it right!! Ho hey
