just came up on a 01 600 and was lookin for some tips on what works as far as mods let me know just got 06 front end goin to try it out monday

 

i had an 03 that i learnt on. i had an oil pickup, brace the subframe to the rearsets with some flat bar, extend the idle adjuster so you dont have to lift up the tank each time. Then the other basics cage, bar, etc.

i loved that bike but it met its end hitting a truck.

I love mine. Air mod needs doing and sump pick up. Get a tre that helps to.
Clutchs can be a bit stiff grease the worm gear

dont bother with pickup mod, just keep your oil above sight glass, subframe ties, drop your motor and plate the inside of the frame where tha valve cover recess s are
