Ducati 1098 Wheelie vs oil in Airbox from Crankcase vent issue. Who actually knows?

right the Kleen air mod...
1.) Reroute how? like take the hose and make it really long? cuz i want the oil to drain back in there....a catch can will just keep emptying out my oil... plus i have to make the catch can easy to access so i can dump it out...then every week i gott put more in the engine...bleh
2.) Kleen air..yah i keep hearing about it but i dont get how it works or what it is..
3.) Sooo you are saying tap into my engine...jesus..its a 1098. Im not that hardcore just yet. But im not sure i follow your idea...what would pump the oil from the back to the front? cuz gravity of it being on 1 wheel wouldnt...

The difference between the older bikes and the newer ones like the 996 or 1098 is there is now a V-sump oil pan. L twin is just shorthand for a 90 degree V twin.
Yah, im just going to have to trial and error it...
what if i routed the hose really long and up to the front of the bike then looped it around to the airbox. and put a reed closer to the airbox or even a couple difffernt material reeds. And if it only is a bit of oil, then gravity would require a pretty long wheelie to push oil that far up the tube. Oil vapor would be caught by the reeds.
I can get to BP pretty quick. Id say on the duc it only takes me about 5-6.5K. then i can slow it down if i need to. Again, i wont be parkinglot stunting this.

I do not know much about 1098s but i stunt a super sport no problems with smoking or oil starvation. But i did re route my crankcase breather..

how did you re-route it? and where to?
Everyone seems to say reroute it to the back of the bike..which makes sense under normal conditions...but if you wheelie, then oil will just run down the tube like a slip and slide.
Im almost thinking of running 3-4ft of tubing up the front of the engine and making a loop-de-loop with catch can at the top then back to the Airbox.
This means oil would have to travel all the way thru 3-4 ft then once the wheelie is down, the oil drains back into the engine....the residue that does get sucked up eventually is caught by the reef valve and catch can....
something like this....where the hose is blue and the catchcan/reed is orange.

The left picture is on 2 wheels...the right is on 1....im curious how much suction pressure that hose actuallly has...would it really suck up oil.
