bike running like shit
bike running like ****
ok my bike is runnin really raspy and sounds like ****.. any one got any ideas or had any experiences like this ive ran thru all the lines and everything im ****** stumped a friend of mine accidently turned the air/fuel mixture cable all the way out i got it back in and now the bike runs like ****** ****.. any help would be greatly appreciated..

could have fouled the plugs out by running to rich. happened to my RR when i got it back. it got messed with and ran good for bout 2 hours then like ****. but was just an idea.

ive been messin with it.. tryin to get it in the best running spot..thanks for the tips everyone im desperate buy now so im willing to try everything..any more ideas??

theres no fuel/air mix "cable" screws.. yes, theres 4 oif them, which you need the entire carb rack off the bike or need a $20 scredriver with a 90 on the end to turn them.
idle cable? choke cable?
the choke cable DOES in essence adjust A/F, but it does so by picking the vacuum pistons up a bit to draw the needle out of the emulsion tube.
i'd say look at sync. if it was knocked out, that'll **** **** up.
my trick is to NOT sync at idle tho. i sync (I-4 engines) at 4-6KRPM. this pulls you off the low-speed circuit and past the transitional port to the high speed circuit, but thinking about it now, you might wanna just sync at ide, since you spend most of your time there.
any other time, sync off idle for smoothness. trust me.
as well, like everyone else said, look at plugs.. ****.. make that the first thing if you haven't already. that'll tell you alot about how that ***** running.

i checked vac lines they all good i still need to check the spark plugs goin to take it to a buddys house today and we goin to try and figure it out... i just cant see how somethin would go bad within a matter of minutes considering it was tooken out then put back in and now runs shitty.. its just mind boggling
