Probably goin to MMI this fall wantin hear what yall think of the school and wheres better Phoenix or Orlando?? i know its the stuntshine state but im a Westcoast Kid! and Phoenix sounds like the **** just wanna hear some opinions!

 

If you need a job while you are going... I would not want to go to florida... Thats why im not going ... No jobs and **** going to Phoenix.

 

i have seen other posts about this and all i have seen was people saying its a waste of time and money

If you know any local shops see if you could work there for free or something.

My boy who i went to highschool with we both went, i dropped out he stayed, he graduated and now he cant even find a job lol hes back to working at he mall in a shoe store....

 

Those schools on TV are garbage. If you are dead-set on going to a trade school like that, find one that has an apprenticeship program that has you working in a shop while going through school as part of your grade. That way, when you do graduate, you actually have a job. Alot of places just leave you hanging and say "Thanks for your money, now **** off."

 

mmi is a waste of both time and money . i know alot of ppl that went and none of em got a job in the bike industry after graduating ...... just go to a shop , and talk to the service manager . start on the bottom and work your way up that way .... better off

 

Thanks to him i changed my mind on going... went and talked to a friend who owns a shop and now am doing Work for him on the side Geting to learn it all for free and get real world experience... Even he told me he would rather have someone work for him that started out in a shop then went to a tech school because people come out thinking they know everything..

 

Aight thats what ive heard some of the same ish looks like a bike shop it is..just wanna get into it thought school was the right way but obviously not lol cool

 

 

just goto a state or community college for auto tech.. its all relative and ull spend like $6ooo a year compared to the $20 ull drop at mii

 

if i would of graduated i would have had to owe 33,000....

i went from september to about may and i have to pay back 10,500
