Brembo 16x18

http://www.haibikeshop.com/index.php...oducts_id=1063

I currently have a 06 gsxr 1000 master for my rear hb and i want to upgrade to the brembo 16x18 and put the gsxr master as my standard front brake master.

basically i will be flipping the gsxr master over to my front brake side and replcing the rear hb with the brembo.

so does anyone have and takes on how good the brembo is or how much feel it has?

Hey Havok,
I know a lot of people keep the stock f4i master on the front of the f4i's.
However I love the feel of the 636 front end brakes. My question is what is the advantage of the f4i master over others I have a spare 636 radial and have thought of the switch but I have noticed that other people seem to like the stock on the f4i? Don't mean to tread jack I just seen this and figured I would ask. I am no stoppie murderer and I saw you might have some input.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Brembo 16x18

i'm currently running a r1 front radial master on my f4i and it definatly increased stopping power! i also have the brembo 16x18 in combination with the hohey 4 piston setup and it rocks, so imo the switch is a good idea!

well i know one reason they keep it is the simple fact if you flip or wreck, its still there...
i had the gsxr front master for my front,(and this happened to others on here) after a couple sessions it would start locking the front(to much bite)
and sometimes it would squeeze all the way to the bar for no reason,(no air ) but its a good master ,i just didnt like it....to many problems with it...and it was brand new.....

Re: Brembo 16x18

Buy the Brembo... it's worth it.

Then if you don't have steel lines on the front brakes, that should be your next course of action.

As for the F4i front master for front brakes... I've seen Joe Vertical roll some crazy stoppies with one of those... and the thing lasted a loooong time.

Re: Brembo 16x18

Those are all good point's I like my front end setup so I think I will leave it alone for now. I have the stock f4i master with the 954 front end, steel lines and calipers and it feel's real good so, if it's not broke don't fix it!
But hey thanks for the input!

yea in front and the hb line but the one that goes from the rear master to the caliper is stock. Soon to be replaced. Never had a problem and i run a junction valve not a dual caliper
