I was thinkin Vortex, and is the mm just a strength and preference? Thanks everyone.
I just noticed you asked what "mm" means. Its not for strength or
comfort at all! It's the circumference of your front forks in milimeters,
Make sure you get the right size for your bike! Your description sais
you have an F4i which is 43mm.

And yes Vortex are good clipons

Re: DB Bars or Clip-ons?

For those of you with DB/MX Bars, did you just drill them into your triple? or buy a new triple with clamps on it?

Why do top riders also ride with clip-ons? It's just personal preference.

I will say one thing, MX bars aren't a 'fix all' problem solver.. All my friends think they are some godsend part that will make riding way easier..
They get them, and tada, they can't ride ANY better!

Some of my friends and up going back to clip-on's, and some stay stuck on power wheelies claiming the mx bars made it soo much easier..

I'm not saying dirt bars are any worse, hell for pull thoroughs and endo's I think they are WAY better..
But I honestly think most riders put them one because they ASSUME it will make riding easier.. They see a few pro's with them and think 'oh they must ride like that because of the mx bars'
Hell most people I know that tried mX bars and liked them, never even gave aftermarket clip-ons a try.. They rode stock, then rode mx bars, and OBVIOUSLY mx bars are better then stock..

i am deff with you on this one....my first actual stuntbike i put dbs on thinking it was gonna help so much and it didnt do **** except make my arms really ****** sore really quick i use 0' FI clip ons on top of my triple and absolutley love it oh and im pretty sure DAN JACKSON started out riding mx and if you look back to his early stunting days like FLS1 he is def on clip ons and still is.....also i like the fact that everyone thinks DB's are the ultimate fix and im doing the same **** with clip ons and it looks way better

Re: DB Bars or Clip-ons?

Im running mx bars right now, i love them, but my bike is a street bike to and i cant hit corners like i used to with them. Once i get decent, i plan on getting some FI clip ons so i can pull them back to a good angle for corners and out for stunt.

Dirtbike bars look cool as **** sf or ff, but for stock look clipons are the ****
