use crazy glue and baking soda on the outside. It works instantly and pretty much permanently. those two items are available at any store/gas station, and you dont have to wait for it to cure like jb weld!

Re: stop radiator leaks with pepper?

theres a powder you can buy from auto parts stores to stop the leak it is like a shaved metal and it adheres to metal surfaces and falls towards the bottom or the radiator. i forgot the name of it though :/

Pepper works absolutley Perfect!!! It's a great temporary fix... It worked for me at stuntwars for me to get my run in and team event!
No damage by using it...Even though a few people suggested it to me... I didn't believe it until Teach said that's the first thing he tries when the radiator starts leaking!...
I have a new radiator now but it's good stuff!
The science behind it ... i can only assume... !

I was shocked when he said that to me... So I said *** ... ok... And i used a teaspoon of pepper and within 5 min it stopped leaking and i gave it a 20 - 30 min test and it held... I did my qualifying run saturday and it held very well and we did our team event sunday with no leaking... It works!

Re: stop radiator leaks with pepper?

carry a stick of JB WELD with you everywhere u go.. its 5 bucks and can save your *** from most leaking situations... i put it on a hot radiator while it was leaking... and it stoped it on the spot. half of my radiator is jb weld. it works il try to find a picture. i wouldnt use anything else becuase its a proven method to use jb weld. case closed. go to auto zone and get that ****!

Re: stop radiator leaks with pepper?

+1 to JB Weld

I was using a lowering strap on my 06 Gix 1K at the dragstrip and I would just release the tension off of it on the street - the buckle actually beat a small hole in the radiator ... I didnt realize it til i was on a long street ride. Got sum JB Weld and spread like a 2" diam spread on the outside of the radia and let it dry - 2 yrs later still strong w/ no probs
