Just learned 12 but i need some help.
well this past week i did it finally. 2years of stunnting and i did it. The bad thing is that im killing my tail. I need to put a bar on it. I have a 1996 gixxer 750 that i want to put it on. what is the best way to put it on. what should i use, how long, where should i put it, all that good stuff. thx. Video out. check it out. and yes im really trying to get a trailer.
hey man. I got a 99' gsxr600 with a bar on it. use steel stock bars. I bolted mine to the top of the subframe.... 1 bolt at the front(by the seat) and the other one by the back(taillight). All on the top of the subframe. I also cut 4in off the tail then put it flush into the tail, it just makes it eaiser to stop it and do stunna tricks.............you can KINDA see it in the picture...........
OK Dan, so that's all there is to it?!
The scrape bar you have on your 954 is one of the most innovative that I have ever seen. I still can't figure out where your bar mounts to, it looks like two bolts on each side through the sub-frame. If anyone could give solid advice on how to build a solid scrapebar, I'd think it would be you. Actually, your bike does look like you smashed the tail up a bit before mounting a bar, maybe your post wasn't so much bs after all.
What exactly is your passanger seat? I sorta think it's the back half of a CR250 SEAT!?!???!
And $$ Jerry $$, you mean you put a bolt down through the top of the subframe in the front and back, on each side right, for a total of 4 bolts in all...?

I was just giving my bro nicely some crap! Yes there is alot more to doing 12's! They take alot of practice and lots of time to master! My 12 bar is aluminum bolted to the sub frame. I welded aluminum stock between the frame so it wouldnt flex, bend and break. The set up on my bar is pretty sweet, needs a little more time spent on it to perfect it. I need to put a wider bar on it, cause it wont stay up on its own. Plus the delron plastic wears out unevenly causing it to pull when you set it on the bar. If you have any questions, feel free to ask I will do my best to set you in the right direction. My last post is what you shouldnt do!!!
