Hi Guys,

i've got a 2001 GSXR 600, and i've bought USD forks from a 2006/07 GSXR 600 because mine are knackered. i've got both yokes, calipers and the front wheel spindle, but i'm planning on keeping my 2001 front wheel to keep the cost down.

Has anyone done this? And any ideas what spacers i could use?

 

try gsxr.com. And the best forks you can get are the 00-02 750.

 

should be able to use your wheel, but im not 100% positive. the only thing else you MIGHT need is the newer rotors and they should bolt up to your wheel.

06 gsxr wheels wont fit an 05 i doubt it will work the fork tubes are longer also..

 

i did it to my bike! i have an 05 and i put an 07 750 folks on it...i would say it will work but it comes down to the steering stem and the brakes! i prest the stem from the older year front end into the newer lower triple so u could use the older top triple. then i had to make spAceers on the calipers for the brakes because the rotors are smaller on the older year wheel >>>ha good luck its works tho..no problems! it just was a little of a pain in my ***.the only reason i did it was i got the front end for next to nothin!!
