alpinestars bionic 2 protection jacket

saw this thing in motosport mag. $230 but it looks like some really good protection. anybody use it? what ya think? can ya still move around just as well? surely better than a leather jacket.. http://www.alpinestars.com/Bionic_2_.../p/650658.html

Yup!

Just make sure you get the proper size for yourself and you'll never notice it until you wreck. I've seen some 140 lbs kids with XL ones

i read the bionic 2 is thinner lighter and tougher lol. just read it on the website. looks pretty cool when i see a pic of someone wearing it. looked a little alienish just from pics haha.

? lol just like a field armor vest but a hundred times better. when i wrecked a barely had any rash on my chest or back but my arms were covered and hips and leg and shoulder had some rash. field armor just protects back and chest if you flip a wheelie or a stoppie or mousetrap and hit the bars. this has built in back protector. to each his own i guess. but i never wear my big *** icon leather jacket so imma sell it and get one of these things. and some gloves mine are trashed from the wreck lol

i'm sure it protects better but i think it looks like ****. i like my icon vest.

i think nasty road rash hurts like hell in the shower and makes work suck ***** lol. cant justify spending $100 on an icon vest when this thing comes with the astars vest in it that costed over $120 alone. i think i should get a motor first tho huh lol my motorless 636 doesnt go fast enough to worry about my skin yet haha.

i think the icon vest looks like what *****'s wear for their MCs..IMO..the back part looks good..if it was a full jacket it would be even better..

here is another pic for a jordan..yea so what im rockin a squidly stand up on the highway...keept it street! lol
