yes you are the stoppie king.. and no the wheels aren't the same... remember the rc51 wheels i had on mine... same idea... and if i were going to build another f4i i would rebuild the stock front before i ever thought about putting a 929 on again...
more of a preference thing i guess...

the 929 front crushed my radiator, the wheels and rotors are stupid expensive, the seals suck and when it comes down to it i have seen plenty of people roll big on conventional forks ahemmmm MITCH ADAMS

So guys, not to ***** this thread up, but I roll 200 foot stoppies. 150 consintent. Not much more area to do em. But I found a long spot to practice at. I have a full 954 front end sittin here. Clip ons down to the wheel and rotors. How far is Mitch rollin on an f4i front end? In your opinions, should I not swap it out and just work the distance on the stockers? I have new seals with 5wt oil in em. And for long distance, are dampers crucial? I have a GPR, but my bike never goes straight with it on. I think it's my bent upper triple. If they are necessary, I'll buy a new upper. Or swap the whole front out and buy whatever I need to mount the GPR on them.

Just got back from an hour long conversation with the guy at the suspension shop.

I'm sticking with my F4i front end.

mitch used to ride a r6s witch has a conventional frontend... i think his longest on that was around 900.... if i were you keep the stock... and work and when you start doin like 400 then swap and see if you like it

954 front end sucks! Looks better but doesnt work better! Stoppies can easily be done and rolled long distance on the stock F4i forks.

Good luck now with your messed up geometry.
I was thinkin bout putting a semi tractor front end on my Benz because its beefier. Those shocks just HAVE too be better then what came stock. I mean, what do engineers know about suspensions anyway?

Re: 954 frontend with f4i rim?

so if u can find the inverted forks that r 30" long and put it on f4i then it would change the bike geometry, right?
