Motard ?'s

What are the advantages/disadvantages on stunting a motard?

Recommended bikes? What must be done to make them stuntable?

there super fun....easy to ride....only thing is if you can only afford 1 bike dont get a motard.......listen to the ryan morre interview...i think he talks about how they overheat real bad doing circles and stuff...he says he installed big electric fans and it still kinda gets hot.....you gotta consider its a single cylinder water cooled bike..its gonna get real hot unless you get good airflow.....

bottom line is there awsome to have but if you can only have one bike get a streetbike...like an r6 or 636...or even an f4i

Re: Motard ?'s

i have an r6. is it worth turning it into a stuntbike? everyone says they're fragile. i was going to sell it for my friends set up 600rr

my bike has been geared and thats it (-1 +5) but i want to get off highway stuff and just hit lots.

the bike i want has a cage, DB bars, steel lines, and sprockets and is in good condition

i can probably get $3k for my bike and can probably get the RR for $3k

Re: Motard ?'s

I had a 636 stunt bike, and sold it to get my motard!
I love it man, now I am selling my 929 to get another motard!
There just fun, personal taste, go ride one and see if you like it.
As far as advantages, there really are none I can think of, in fact it's hard to get stunt parts for them, unless you know how to weld and can make your own custom subframe. I dont have a custom frame yet, so I'm limited to standing on the seat or sitdown circles, no RL's or anything cause you got no pegs, unless you get a motard that comes with pegs. Oh and no handers are hard as f'k! you got nothing to hold your *** up like on a sport bike, so you gotta hook the foot like ryan more does, he rolls em pretty damn far, I can't get anything more than a second or two. and you definitly gotta get a fan or your **** will overheat. I watch my temp on my trail tech, and if Im getting hot, I gotta let her cool down, or spin on the road and cool that **** down. I plan on getting a fan put on there this winter, and Im trying to get a custom subframe made, but yeah, motards are just fun, more comfortable for me anyway.

Re: Motard ?'s

I loved my drz with a pipe and jet kit. one of the most well balanced bikes i've ever wheelied and fucked around on, and all around the most fun. The only reason I sold it is to get a motard with a 6th gear and fuel injection. I love sportbikes but tards are the ****.

Ive never had a problem with overheating ever on my motard, done massive standin burnouts and got a couple of drips of coolant but nothing major!

+1 to Kevmo's last comment...
im really thinking about getting rid of my f3 and getting a 450 because it does suit my style of stuntriding. instead of putting money into my f3 and stunting it i think id have more fun on the 450...
im about to buy the crf 230 (which is my buddies) in my avatar and gonna make it street legal and hit the streets...
stuntriding to me is about having fun..not about what everybody else id doing.
