I just rode my 50 witha brand new kenda millville rear tire on it and it sucks for street...if I lean the bike over the rear end starts to slide out . One time I fell because the tire slid out on me ....plus I cant wheelie for **** now..I used to have alot of tricks and pretty long wheelies now Im lucky if I can get 300 feet!!!...I tried burning out on it to even it out but it didnt work that good..Im thinking about getting pirellie super motard tires for my 50 but I dont know if they would get me though any trails...do you thing I could rock pirelli super motard tires on the sand and dirt or would it have no traction at all...after all super motard is where u race on half dirt/street so they should work alrighT???

 

Same thing happened with me, then about 2-3 days of practicing later, you become so much better. Improvment with a street tire isnt sudden, you have to get used to it dude.


Just keep your Kenda tire.

I have a Cheng Shin rear tire and i can handle pretty good on trails, but your never going to get as good traction as a knobbie tire.

Just keep practicing dude, it takes time to get used to the tire. You need to just get out there and cruise around.

 

i have kenda rear street tires......the day i put em' on my wheelies doubled or even tripled.... maybe you put them on wrong......try switching the front to back and back to front..... j/kidding...keep riding it.............

 

U guys are confused I got a kenda rear dirt tire not a kenda street tire...the only reason I suck at wheelies on it is cuz the ***** throw me off!

 

ohhhh my bad, yea it'll get harder to wheelie with those knobbies, try it for a couple of days and get used to it.


But the street tires are much much better for whoolies.

yeah dude big nobbies suck,rode with it for 2 day and swapped for kenda street tire thing is off the hook.u def wanna get a nother rear rim and sprocket so u can quick change for street and dirt,if u can wheelie a fiddy wit the big nobbies,it just makes u that much better

 

Yeah those Millville's have some burly *****. Burn it down alot or just get some of the trials type if you just don't go all street.

 

does any company make dual sport tires for 50s?...ehh I think im just gonna get the pirelli super moto tires for christmas still not totaly sure tho....how much do the kenda street tirest cost?
