im in the same exact boat that you were in. im hoping to trade this thing in for an 05/06 before i decide to keep it and end up demolishing the frame mounts LOL

back pressure = low end torque ..
if you take the cat off and put on a slipon it will pull better mid range and top end but you will loose low end torque ...
turn up your idle and deal with it , you will get used to it

think about what that looks like during the day when the property manager pulls in , he gives the security guard **** for letting us be there then the security guard stops letting us ride there so he doesn't lose his job....
