Catching And Pulling Idle
Re: Catching And Pulling Idle
the day i learned idle on my 900 was the day i wrecked haha. had a 12 bar on it and never scraped until a few guys from cix convinced me to turn the idle up in the lot. took a couple tries but i caught idle within a hour. then i tried movin on to seat standers the next day but my handbrake was nig rigged and i could barely pull it so i ended up with my feet on the ground runnin behind bike a couple times. but i was so excited i kept doin it until i was runnin behind bike and then grabbed handbrake too hard and my chest smacked the tank and i grabbed WOT!! that was my first wreck and it hurt. lol dont wanna repeat that so im not doin ss idle til i get good hb. got a few pics of road rash but no video of crash damnit lol

Re: Catching And Pulling Idle
almost a year. sessions usually less than 2 hours... pulling 1 or 2 times a week, with a few weeks of no stunt and 2 months down about half way through that year rebuilding the motor. and it still isn't idle forever... but a while. stunt bike isn't a stunt bike now so I'm at almost 2 months now occasionally stuntin my friends 954 (plan to buy this bike when my yamah sells)
Re: Catching And Pulling Idle
I stunted nothing but streets for about 2 years which i have full confidence in dong, when it came to the lot stuff and actually turning the idle up i was catching idle in about an hour or so and that was months ago. i barely ever get to ride in a lot tho. i have only riden in a lot about 4 or 5 times and total riding time has been maybe 4 hours combined. yesterday i got to ride in a lot for about a half hour and all i did was SS's idles and a couple short no throttle hand SS's. I still need a lot of practice before going into circles or anything else, but with a few good long sessions in a decent lot i think i would learn a lot
Re: Catching And Pulling Idle
took me about 9 months from the first time i hit the lot.. i was on a 99 zx6 and everytime i wrecked it teh carbs got fucked up and put me out for a week... got my 05 and had idle within 2 sessions.. lovin' it now learning new **** but i'm a slow learner and travel (without bike
