XR100 stuntbike

i just got a XR100 and its the easyest bike to wheelie i have ever rode and im keeping it and turning it into a stuntbike cause im a little sick of scooters with no power. scooter i cant even do sit downs they are so gutless, the 100 i can clutch it up in 3rd at 40 KPH siting down. and im wondering where to get a 12 bar and hand brake if someone can make one or tell me how to make one, and just stunt stuff i may need for a xr100 and some things i may need to know about stunting a xr100 thanks.

Re: XR100 stuntbike

The EASIEST way to build a 12bar for an XR100 is to take two pieces of square tubing adjusted to the lengeth that you want it to contact the ground (hint find a pole horizontal and strap the front end so that the bike is standing straight up and take measurements there) cut the pices to that measurement one for each side weld those pieces in place and then drill through the square tubing and into a backup plate (i usually take some small round tubing and run inside the holes you previously made) and run some GOOD QUALITY bolts through for extra strength. Then make your backpiece a good place to get either titanium and/or spring steel is an aircraft referb shop (i think Evergreen has a spot close to you google it) the spring steel is the best for 12bars on light weight bikes/fourwheelers. then take a flat piece of steel and weld it b/t the two pieces of square tubing and drill holes (to attach the titanium/springsteel) and countersink the boltholes on the titanium/ss and bolt. ps if you dont have the equipment a machine shop will be able to drill the holes you need in the titanum/ss.
goood luck and if you need anything else just pm me

Re: XR100 stuntbike

convert the front end to a newer cr85 front end.. they have disc brakes, and they are about the same as stock front end sale wise... sell your stocker front end, buy the cr85 or cr150f front end and start rocking stoppies
ill post pics of my xr100 stunter later

Re: XR100 stuntbike

get a peice of rebar...bend it arround a tree and stick it in the two wholes at the end of the subframe..you dont need to buy a 12 bar..,you dont need a cr 80 front end...you dont need anything for that bike...
