i just got a 99 r1 and it is sweet, i am pretty good at 1st gear weelies and know i am trying 2nd gear ones, i got a couple of really good ones up and at teh same time my bike jerked, i have stock gearing on it for right know i want to get really good at them before i change my sprockets and word on how i can inprove my 2nd gear weeelies and what is the jerking.

 

more than likely its you. How high are you gettin these 2nd gear wheelies...how fast you going.....how many rpm's u runnin?? it all depends on that kinda stuff. could be your carbs or it could be your stock gearing. but more than likely its you throttle control!
