Re: Prevent Breakin Arms?

Don't try to catch yourself with your hands... you can break a wrist/arm just trying to catch yourself falling while snowboarding, much less goin 30 on a bike. If your gonna catch yourself get some elbow pads and land on your elbow/flat side of your forarms it would be much better if you can think fast enough to tuck and roll...

Re: Prevent Breakin Arms?

What kind of health insurance are we talking? I have state min on my bike, but great great health insurance through my dad's company. Will I be covered in a bike accident, or will the health ins try to kick it back to my bike ins (there is none) so I get fucked?

I've got Aetna.

Re: Prevent Breakin Arms?

best way is to land on ur feet... but seriously tuck and roll, like its already been said... getting some scrapes up ur arm and back and maybe some bruises on ur shoulder is way better than posting ur arm and breaking it or worse... blowing ur elbow out

I was going to post something like this for you. Looks like the purpose of the thread (asking advice), turned into what the cost of medical care are.

I would use body arm gear, they have some nice stuff out there and if you are not wearing a jacket with gear, I would say get one. I know some people that were lucky they didn't break there arm(s) from a simple crash since they had it on.

Good luck to you and drink your milk boy!
